“Over the last four years, The House has played a huge role in my growing relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It provided not only a great place to worship, but also to make friends. One of the things I have learned over the last couple of years is that we are called to be servants for the Lord. The House has provided many opportunities in and around the Chattanooga area that have allowed me to serve my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
An opportunity has come up for me to do the Lord’s work this time overseas in Ecuador on my upcoming spring break (March 6-14). Working with For His Children, we will be taking care of children that were either homeless, have special needs, or could not be properly provided for by their biological parents who have been taken in by FHC. The cost for this trip (airfare, lodging, food, ministry costs) is $2300 total. I am extremely excited and also broke. I hate asking for money and have been trying to do side jobs to raise it but I'm not sure it will be enough. Help. :)"

We would love to connect you with a student in need of help. Many are still looking for side jobs, babysitting opportunities, and other ways to earn the money for their trips. If you’d like to help send a student on a Spring Break Mission Trip or simply touch base on what God is doing in and through the ministry of The House, I would love the chance to grab some coffee and chat with you. And you can support this work financially right now by clicking here.

This weekend, we took 80 students on our annual Winter Retreat. Here’s what a few of our students had to say about the experience.
“This ministry continues to amaze me each and every day. Such a special thing to be involved in. I will forever be thankful for the memories made with these people. God definitely knew what He was doing when He created this place that would become a home for so many people.” -Barrett Baugh
“What a lovely, powerful weekend. Winter Retreat 2019 did not disappoint!! Thankful for faithful leaders, wonderful community, and the God of peace.”
